About the Instructor

Born and raised in Ropar, Punjab, he is a passionate shooter, coach, and sports educator with an impressive record of achievements at the state and national levels. With years of competitive experience in pistol and rifle shooting, he has established himself as a dedicated athlete committed to excellence, discipline, and the development of future champions.

His shooting journey began at a young age and quickly led to notable successes. He won a Silver Medal in Rifle Shooting (.177) at the Punjab School State Championship (2016–17), followed by a Gold Medal in Pistol Shooting (.177) at the Punjab School State Championship (2018–19). Representing the Punjabi Rifle Shooting Association in 2019, he secured 1st Position in the 10m Youth Men category and 2nd Position in the 10m Pistol Men category. His talent and dedication earned him opportunities to compete at prestigious national events, including the Thiruvananthapuram National Championship (2018) in the 10m Pistol Youth Men (ISSF) category, where he participated in both Individual and Team events, the North Zone Rifle/Pistol Championship, Dehradun (2018) in the 10m Air Pistol Junior Men (NR Category) event, and the National Shooting Championship (2024) in the 10m Pistol Men (ISSF) category. Most recently, he secured Rank 9 in the 25m Standard Pistol event at the 60th Punjab State Shooting Championship (2025), further strengthening his reputation as a competitive shooter.

Driven by a desire to share his knowledge and experience with the next generation, he currently serves as a Shooting Coach at DAV School, Ropar, where he trains students in 10m and 25m rifle and pistol shooting. His coaching philosophy focuses on developing technical excellence, mental focus, discipline, and confidence—qualities that are essential for success both on the range and in life. Through structured training and personalized guidance, he helps aspiring shooters prepare for school, state, and national-level competitions.

Alongside his coaching career, he has built a strong academic foundation in sports sciences. He has done B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed from Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Sports University, Patiala.

Recognized as a sportsperson through his C Certificate in Sports Gradation, he combines competitive experience, technical knowledge, and a genuine passion for mentoring young athletes. His mission is to inspire and train aspiring shooters to reach their highest potential while promoting a culture of professionalism, sportsmanship, and continuous improvement.
